Treatment
First, your Younique provider will cleanse and sterilize the injection site. Next, using a 30G mesotherapy needle, they will carefully inject CO2 gas beneath the skin for either subcutaneous or intradermic positioning. You may feel some pressure during the process, but most patients don’t find it painful at all.
Recovery
Your treatment area may exhibit warmth and tingling sensations for up to 24 hours after the treatment. This is caused by the improvement of circulation and blood flow. None of this should impair you from continuing with your normal daily routine and activities. Some bruising may present at the carboxytherapy injection site(s) and will clear up within 7 to 10 days.
