Customizable Treatment
The PRP Facelift can be customized to address your specific aesthetic concerns.
Consultation
It starts with a personal consultation with your trained and licensed Younique provider. During this relaxing and energizing one-on-one, they’ll discuss your concerns, your goals for treatment, and your medical history. If your provider determines that a PRP Facelift in Los Angeles is the best treatment for your concerns and goals, your session can be scheduled.
Procedure
First, your Younique provider will remove any makeup and thoroughly cleanse the treatment areas. They will apply a topical anesthetic for your comfort during the procedure, and they will mark the target injection sites for optimum aesthetic results. During the filler injections, platelet-rich plasma will be added to your hyaluronic acid filler, delivering volume and extra healing all at the same time. You’ll see positive results immediately after treatment.
Recovery
There is little to no downtime associated with a PRP Facelift. Your improvements will continue to be realized over the next 2 to 3 months as your skin begins to rebuild collagen for a firmer, smoother texture. As with all injectable treatments, you can expect some temporary swelling, redness, bruising, and soreness at your injection sites. Your provider will give you the custom list of recovery best practices after your treatment.
How can I support the positive results of my PRP Facelift in Los Angeles?
As with any Vampire Facelift, avoid garlic and sunlight.
We’re kidding! Well, partially. You should always practice safe sun exposure by wearing sunscreen. We can recommend medical-grade skincare products to help you do that. Also:
- Don’t smoke. Not only does the smoking action cause wrinkles, but the toxins get into your blood—and into your skin.
- Be kind to your skin. Don’t scrub hard on your face, hands, etc. Use only mild exfoliation techniques at home and gentle cleansers.
- Get plenty of sleep. Your body needs rest not just for more energy, but to heal. Give it that time, and it will give back better health.
- Hydrate! Drinking enough water is great for your skin. And for your kidneys, liver, digestion, brain—pretty much all of you.
Why is a PRP Facelift called a Vampire Facelift?
The PRP facelift is also called a Vampire Facelift because of one thing: blood. To create the PRP, your provider will draw blood and put it into a centrifuge, which spins the blood at a high rate of speed. After about 10 minutes, your blood will be separated into red blood cells, platelet-poor plasma, and platelet-rich plasma (PRP).
Of course, we give it back to you. Dracula’s more selfish than that.
