Benefits to Blepharoplasty in Los Angeles
Improved Vision
Sagging eyelids, especially the upper eyelid, can impair your vision. Our eyelid lift can help you easily read that book or enjoy another beautiful sunset on the beach!
Younger Appearance
Drooping eyelids and bags under the eyes are common signs of aging. With an eyelid lift, you can have a refreshed, energized, more youthful-looking expression.
Long Lasting
Because it’s a surgical procedure, blepharoplasty in Los Angeles provides long-lasting results for tired or aging eyes.
Consultation
It starts with a personal consultation with your trained and licensed Younique provider. During this relaxing and energizing one-on-one, they’ll discuss your concerns, your goals for treatment, and your medical history. If your provider determines that blepharoplasty in Los Angeles is the best treatment for you based on this discussion, your surgery can be scheduled.

Procedure
During your eyelid lift, the surgeon begins by cleansing the surgical area and administering local anesthesia. Once you’re ready, the surgeon will make small incisions in the natural creases of your eyelids, allowing them to remove excess skin and fat as needed. If necessary, they may also tighten the muscles around the eyes to enhance overall appearance.

Recovery
After the procedure, you will be given specific instructions on how to care for your eyes and eyelids as they heal. You’ll need to make sure you have a ride home available, as a blepharoplasty is an outpatient procedure (meaning there’s no overnight stay required). There may be some swelling and bruising, but this should subside within a few days. Most patients return to their normal activities within 7 to 10 days.

Does eyelid surgery leave visible scars?
It should be almost impossible to see where the surgery has healed. Your Younique surgeon artfully and carefully hides any incisions in your skin’s natural folds and under the lash line.
What if I just want my upper or lower eyelids done?
There are 2 types of blepharoplasty: upper lid blepharoplasty and lower lid blepharoplasty. Some patients opt for both simultaneously. Depending on your goals, upper lid blepharoplasty addresses fatty deposits causing puffiness, while lower lid blepharoplasty eliminates bags and droopiness.
Upper Lid Blepharoplasty:
This procedure, typically lasting around 2 hours as an outpatient, removes excess fat and tissue through an incision in the natural eyelid crease. The incision is closed with a single tiny stitch.
Lower Lid Blepharoplasty:
Taking 1 to 2 hours as an outpatient, this procedure eliminates bags and droopy lower lids through an incision on the inner eyelid, leaving no external scars. A single absorbable stitch is used to close the incision, and skin tightening with CO2 laser resurfacing can be performed if needed.
