Procedure
We can perform a breast augmentation using one of two types of implants: breast implants (silicone or saline) or fat transfer.
If you’ve elected to add a breast lift surgery to your augmentation procedure, we can use one of three methods: a Donut Mastopexy, a Lollipop Breast Lift, or an Inverted T “Anchor” Lift.
Breast Augmentation Timeline
The planning of a breast augmentation can take up to 4 days while everything is discussed and a plan is made. Afterward, the surgery itself takes place.
Surgery time can vary between patients due to individual aspects. However, it usually takes less than 2 hours to perform the procedure. This time might vary if you choose to undergo multiple surgeries simultaneously.
All Younique patients are required to wear a supportive bra after their breast augmentation in Los Angeles. Should there be any post-operative pain, we will recommend approved pain medication. Swelling and bruising should subside within a week so long as the supportive bra is worn. Recovery time is usually about a week, and most patients are back to work within 3 to 5 days.
