Skin Biopsies in OXNARD

During your one-on-one consultation with your trained and licensed Younique provider, they discuss your concerns, biopsy treatment, and your medical history. If a skin biopsy in Oxnard is the best treatment for you, they will schedule your session.

After cleansing and numbing the treatment area, your Younique provider will select the best skin biopsy technique to remove the skin lesion sample. Once we confirm that the anesthetic has taken effect, your provider will take their sample from the area of concern. Depending on which technique was necessary to retrieve the sample, your provider may apply one or two simple stitches at the end of treatment.

Your Younique provider will send your biopsy to a qualified lab for testing. Your results may take a few days up to 2 weeks to come back.

If you needed any stitches at the end of your biopsy, you can expect self-dissolving stitches to fall out within 1 to 2 weeks. If you’d like to schedule a follow-up visit to check on your stitches, let your provider know.
