Procedure
The procedure can typically last up to 2 hours and involves the use of local anesthesia. Your surgeon will begin by making small incisions along the natural creases of your eyelids. Then, they will remove excess skin and fat around the eye to give you that lifted look.
Recovery
Once you finish with surgery, your provider will give you specific instructions on how to care for your eyelids as they heal. Since this is considered an outpatient procedure, you do not need to stay overnight. However, you will need to have a ride home once completed.

What if I just want my upper or lower eyelids done?

Upper Lid Blepharoplasty:

Your surgeon may use one absorbable stitch to close the small incision. If needed after your surgery, you can opt for skin tightening with CO2 laser resurfacing.
