Consultation

Our process begins with a one-on-one consultation with one of our licensed Younique providers. During this personal meeting, we discuss your current implants, medical history, and goals for surgery. If we determine that removing your implant is the right step, we can schedule an MRI for you breasts. After receiving the results, we can schedule your surgery and provide pre-surgery preparation information.

Procedure

We provide an anesthetic via IV sedation or general anesthesia. Your Younique surgeon will make an incision around your areola or under the lower area of your breast to remove the implants and any scar tissue. Depending on your aesthetic goals, we may also insert new implants or perform a small breast lift. We close the incision and complete the surgery.

Recovery

Like your original breast augmentation, recovering from implant removal or revision takes time. During the first 1 to 2 following surgery, you will need to give your body ample rest and avoid any strenuous activities, lifting items exceeding 5 pounds in weight, and driving.

Remember your support bra? She’s making a glorious comeback! Wear the compression garment regularly to reduce swelling. Your Younique surgeon may also insert drains under your skin and remove excess fluid or blood. Generally, we remove these after a few days.
