It all begins with a personal consultation with your trained and licensed Younique provider. During this one-on-one meeting, they’ll discuss your concerns, treatment goals, and medical history. Procedure
Chin implant surgery uses either local or general anesthesia, depending on the implant’s size and location. The procedure typically takes about 60 minutes.
Your surgeon will make an incision either along the gum line or discreetly beneath the chin. The implant, chosen to fit your specific needs and goals, is then inserted through the incision. Once the implant is securely in place, the incision is closed with sutures.
Recovery
After chin augmentation surgery, it’s normal to experience moderate discomfort for the first few days to a week, with tenderness, swelling, and bruising around the lower jaw. Most patients can return to work and normal activities within 7 to 10 days. Keep in mind that swelling may take time to fully subside, and the final results may not be visible until 3 to 4 months after the procedure.
