Procedure
Chin liposuction is an excellent and permanent solution for reducing a double chin. In this 2-hour procedure, your Younique provider uses a small tube called a “cannula” to target various areas of your chin. Through gentle suction, they remove small, strategic amounts of fat from each area.
Submentoplasty involves making small incisions beneath the chin to remove fatty deposits via liposuction, helping to tighten the muscles and improve the overall contour of the neck.
Recovery
We use either IV or general sedation for the procedure, so be sure to arrange for someone to take you home afterward. The actual fat removal process is fairly quick, but the preparation and sedation may make the session longer. You might feel some discomfort in the days following your double chin liposuction in Santa Monica, but your Younique provider may prescribe pain medication to help ease it. Most patients can return to light work within 2 to 3 days, and you can get back to regular exercise in about 3 weeks.
