Procedure
First, your provider will inject a numbing solution into the treatment area to make you comfortable. Once that’s done, they’ll make tiny incisions—way smaller than regular liposuction—and use a special tool to break up and suck out the targeted fat.
Next, they’ll use a small applicator to deliver the J-Plasma treatment. It combines helium and radiofrequency energy to create cool plasma, which tightens the skin by stimulating collagen beneath the surface. It’s a quick and effective way to lift and smooth things out!
Recovery
The recovery time for smart liposuction is quicker than traditional liposuction. Most Younique patients only need 3 to 5 days to rest, and many are back to work in just a few days. We suggest wearing your compression garments for the recommended time period. You should also wait about a week before jumping back into exercise. Usually, any soreness or bruising goes away within 4 weeks of your treatment with J-Plasma in Santa Monica.
