Procedure
During your paranasal augmentation surgery, your Younique provider will provide general anesthesia to enhance comfort and help relieve you of any potential anxiety. Your provider will then make careful incisions either inside the mouth or below your lower eyelid to insert the implants. They will position the implants for the most natural-looking volumizing enhancement.
Your enhancement can address the mid-face concavity that may make your face appear flat or hollow. The small incision may leave minimal scarring afterwards.
Recovery
Similar to cheekbone implants, paranasal implant surgery can fill mid-face features. At Younique, you can experience a technique that can take 30 to 45 minutes and doesn’t require you to stay overnight. You may experience some swelling for a few days following surgery.
After 2 days, you may begin feeling more like yourself. You can take prescribed or over-the-counter medication as directed. It’s also safe to use a cold compress in moderation. After about 10 days, you can return to work. We recommend avoiding heavy exercise and strenuous activity for at least 14 days.
