Our process begins with a consultation with one of our licensed Younique providers. During this meeting, we discuss your concerns, medical history, and goals for surgery. If we determine that you’re a candidate for a P-Shot in Santa Monica, we can schedule your appointment and prepare you for treatment.
Treatment
To prepare the PRP for injection, your provider will draw blood and put it into a centrifuge, which spins the blood at a high speed. After 10 minutes, your blood will separate into red blood cells, platelet-poor plasma, and platelet-rich plasma. During this time, your provider will gently cleanse your penis and apply topical numbing cream. When P-Shot is ready, your provider will inject the solution into your penile tissue.
Recovery
Typically, it will take about 12 weeks to see the full results of your P-Shot in Santa Monica. Depending on your results, you may need a series of 2 to 3 P-Shots across a few months to reach your desired results. Following your P-Shot, your Younique provider may recommend the use of a vacuum pump (“penis pump”) to stretch the penile tissue and evenly distribute the injection. The vacuum pump is a cylinder-shaped handheld device designed to help men achieve and maintain an erection. When the air pumps out of the cylinder, it creates negative pressure, forcing blood to flow into the penis. You’ll notice an immediate increase in both the size and length of your penis.
